Train Is A Comin' is a powerful music album that brings together ten fresh new songs. While the inspiration for Theodore's original compositions comes primarily from the Bible, his songwriting motivation comes from a desire to communicate God's love to everyone. Collectively, the songs minister from a practical biblical perspective the height and depth, breadth and length of God's love for humankind. The title song, Train Is A Comin', reminds Christians that ever since the day Jesus was taken up into heaven in clouds of glory, the Church has remained steadfast to what the angel had spoken: "... this same Jesus will return again in like manner as you have seen Him go." Just as a train comes for waiting passengers, Jesus will come again for all those who are ready and waiting: all who have made Him their Savior and Lord.
In addition to a whole host of accomplished musicians and vocalists who had a hand in the production, Theodore's musical gift shines bright. The album features him playing both 6 and 12 string guitar, dobro guitar, banjo, violin and harmonica as well as singing lead to the vocal parts. Train Is A Comin' embraces Christian music across several styles: contemporary, country gospel, country-folk and bluegrass. This gives the album a truly unique overall appeal.
